El Rancho de las Golondrinas – This is a fantastic historical ranch that has been converted into a village.  However, El Rancho de las Golondrinas is no ordinary village, it uniquely emulates the Spanish way of life from the 18^th and 19^th century.  Visitors are invited to explore the brilliancy of this authentic reconstructed village.  You will be able to see chapels, blacksmiths, the town school and much more.  This is a great way for the family to spend a whole afternoon.

Saint Francis Cathedral – This is one of the most beautiful historical sights located in Santa Fe.  When this cathedral was first established in the late 19the century it was intricately designed with beautiful French architecture.  The cathedral remains in its magnificent entirety today, and it is still home to the oldest Madonna statue located in America.

Santa Fe Southern Railway – This is a fabulous tour that you should take if you are presented the opportunity.  You are taken on a 4 ½ hour train tour through some of the most beautiful landscapes found in Santa Fe.  During your ride you can relax in the luxurious train coaches, while you take in the scenic nature.  Don’t forget to bring your camera with you.

Walking Tour of Santa Fe – This walking tour comes complete with a professional guide who will inform your of a variety of interesting facts that are linked to the over 400 years of Santa Fe history.  This is a great way to gain insight about the delightful city, and is a perfect way to spend an afternoon.

J.W. Eaves Movie Ranch – This is a fun attraction for any movie lover.  At this ranch you will discover a variety of different western movie sets that were used in classic western movies.

Santa Fe Opera House – If you are looking for classic entertainment the opera house is a great place to visit.  There is always something being performed for you to enjoy.  However, if you really enjoy opera, you might want to travel to Santa Fe during the summer months of July and August when they have their special festival.
